Creating elements in a isometric view(3D) is not a harder task. Now am going to tell you about creating 3D texts by adding shadows but remember am not using "drop shadow" effect in Flash software.

Steps:

  • Open a new flash document with a background colour of white.
  • Create a word suppose to be "EYESITESMEDIA" with text colour as black and convert it in to a movie clip and name it as "Font".
  • Duplicate the movie clip by pressing ctrl + D and name it as "Shadow".
  • Create a new layer. Now cut the movie clip "Shadow" and paste it in this new layer.
  • By selecting "Shadow" click tranform tab which is at the right side panel.
  • Skew the movie clip with length of 51.7° and height of 86.9°.

  • Now position the "shadow" which should look behind "Font" movie clip. Remember, the layer which contains the "Font" movie clip should be on top.
