Hyperlinks are essential to navigate between different pages inside and outside of websites. There are different ways to create links. A simple method is making a text as link to a page. You can also make a link to other page by clicking " insert ", then select " Hyperlink " and fill the necessary fields.

Creating Links:

Steps:

• As a simple way, type some word which going to be link title and select it.
• Open the property inspector and type the url i.e., path to the file or page you want to navigate at field named as " Link ".
• An example of how an URL should look like is as http://www.yourdomain.com/page.html
• Below that you will see a list box named " Target ".
• When you select "_self " the corresponding page by clicking this link will load in the same window.
• When you select " _parent " then the page will load in a new window.

 

Rollover effect:

By default all the links would show in blue color. You can change the color to any as you like.

Steps:

• Click " page properties " from property panel and select "Links ".
• By link font and size list boxes, you can set font type and font size.
• Below you will see "Link color ". Click over the square box and select your desired color.
• And in the same way you can select the Rollover color also which will show different link color when mouse over it.
• Later select the color for visited and active links.
• Last one is "underline " type. You can set your link title with, without or when mouseover underlined. Click apply.
