Flash Pre-loader |
|
|
Suppose your flash movie may be bigger in size, so it takes more time
to load. But your visitors cannot be patient by watching the blank screen.
So adding a pre-loader is the intelligent way.Ok. Let we go for the lesson.
Steps:
- Open a new flash document.
- Create a rectangle shape of size 180 x 50px and apply colour code #333333.
- Convert the rectangle shape into a movie clip. Double click the movie
clip and rename the layer’s name as “background”.
- Create a new layer over the “background” layer and name it as “box”.
- Create a small rectangle shape of size 145 x 15px and apply colour
code #CCCCCC as in figure 'a'.

- Again create a new layer and name it as “loader”. Create a rectangle shape
of size 145 x 15px and apply colour code #006633 (see figure 'b').
- Once again create a new layer and name it as “slider”. Create a rectangle
shape of size 150 x 20 with white colour and place the shape just over
rectangle shape of size 145 x 15px as shown in figure 'c'. Keep in mind
that the placing of this white colour shape should cover the rectangle
shape of size 145 x 15px entirely.
- Remember, you should not use line tool for any of these rectangle
shapes. Just enable the fill colour and disable or select no colour for
line. If you enable the line tool and get drawn a rectangle means the
mask property must not work.
